¶ Mine Wack
“Tap the moles, dodge the rabbits, and race against time in this reflex challenge!"
Mine Wack is the newest minigame in the Kingdom Portal, created by Felga and Asterion. Completing it gives you a fixed number of Marks, which changes every day along with the goal score. Emblems and items that boost Mark earnings do not affect the payout of this or any other minigame.
¶ Rules
The rules of this game are very simple, and are summarized well in the description on the button you use to access it. Tap or click on the moles when they appear, and don't tap on rabbits or empty holes. Each time you miss (meaning tapping a hole, a rabbit, or letting a mole escape), you lose one of your 3 lives. In testing the game for this article, I was able to tap on about 5 rabbits and empty holes before losing 1 life, but just focus on hitting all the moles and you will be fine.
The speed at which the moles and rabbits appear and disappear will increase as the game progresses. Different moles worth more points will also start to appear more frequently. There are two varieties of rabbits, one will penalize you more than the other.
There is a bonus meter that will fill up as you hit moles, going from 1x to 5x inclusive. Each level will multiply the score from hitting a mole by that amount. If you lose a life, the meter will reset at 1x.
¶ Tips/Strategy
- Use a touchscreen! Unlike every other game where I recommend a keyboard, for this game you will do much better with a touchscreen. If you don't have that kind of a device, a mouse will do fairly well instead.
- Play with the sound on, you will hear a tone when you reach the target score and can relax.
- Keep playing for as long as you can and build up your high score for days that have higher targets.
- There isn't much other strategy other than to only hit the moles!
