This page discusses node forging (grouping), an upcoming feature that may change before final release
Mining is essential for obtaining valuable minerals, which allow you to do multiple things:
In short, we need to mine (or buy minerals from the market) to progress in the land or simply enjoy the various activities mentioned above.
The basic flow of mining is: chop trees → use the wood for pickaxes to get stone → make stone pickaxes to get iron → make iron pickaxes to get gold → make gold pickaxes to get Crimstone or Sunstone.
To obtain stone, we need to craft a pickaxe, which will allow us to mine the Stone Rock.
As we progress through the game, we’ll be able to obtain Sunstone, which can be used to unlock additional Stone Rock nodes. The initial cost for the first Stone Rock node is 4 Sunstone, and it increases by +3 Sunstone for each subsequent node.
Soon, it will be possible to group Stone Rocks together to obtain more stone and make mining more convenient.
💡 Tip: If you’re new to the game, I recommend getting the Stone Beetle from the blacksmith as soon as possible.
To obtain iron, we need to craft a stone pickaxe, which will allow us to mine the Iron Rock.
As we progress through the game, we’ll be able to obtain Sunstone, which can be used to unlock additional Iron Rock nodes. The initial cost for the first Iron Rock node is 7 Sunstone, and it increases by +5 Sunstone for each subsequent node.
Soon, it will be possible to group Iron Rocks together to obtain more iron and make mining more convenient.
💡 Tip: If you’re new to the game, I recommend getting the Iron Beetle from the blacksmith as soon as possible.
To obtain gold, we need to craft a iron pickaxe, which will allow us to mine the Gold Rock.
As we progress through the game, we’ll be able to obtain Sunstone, which can be used to unlock additional Gold Rock nodes. The initial cost for the first Gold Rock node is 10 Sunstone, and it increases by +6 Sunstone for each subsequent node.
Soon, it will be possible to group Gold Rocks together to obtain more gold and make mining more convenient.
💡 Tip: If you’re new to the game, I recommend getting the Gold Beetle from the blacksmith as soon as possible.
To obtain Crimstone, we need to craft a gold pickaxe, which will allow us to mine the Crimstone Rock.
As we progress through the game, we’ll be able to obtain Sunstone, which can be used to unlock additional Crimstone Rock nodes. The initial cost for the first Crimstone Rock node is 20 Sunstone, and it increases by +20 Sunstone for each subsequent node.
Having a mining skill tree allows us to create a strategy to optimize it.
