¶ Pumpkin' Pete
Pete is an NPC residing in the Pumpkin Plaza, perhaps deriving his name from the place, or perhaps the other way around. He is the easiest NPC to reach, being immediately to the left of the initial arrival location in the Plaza. Pete requests very simple foods and products for his deliveries, making him the easiest NPC to satisfy, also. He is a Ticket delivery NPC, meaning he will reward you with the current Chapter Ticket, and will be unavailable for the final week of each Chapter.
Pete is the main guide for Sunflower Land, teaching new players the ropes of farming and the various things you can do around the islands. He also appears on your Home Farm, paddling his coracle up to your shores to provide tips and tricks for your farming journey.
He prefers Yellow Cosmos above all other flowers.

Pete used to be the means by which players were informed of the schedule for Double Delivery Day. After making a successful delivery, he would whisper the information in his success window. Now that the Calendar has been established, he no longer does this.
Pete's full title is Pumpkin' Pete, which is linguistically odd. The gerund form in English denotes an present action, such as “jumping” or “walking." The ‘g’ is dropped and replaced with an apostrophe to denote a rural or colloquial way of speaking: “been farmin' all day.” Therefore, the more proper form of his title would be “Pumpking,” and the root verb form “Pumpk.” Perhaps he truly is the Pumpkin King of Sunflorea, biding his time before he can take back his throne from Tywin and the other pretenders…
