¶ Faction Pet
The Faction Pet is the primary mechanic of joining a faction, and will benefit not only you but every participating member of the group. Located centrally in the middle of the faction house, the Pet requires different foods every week. Contribute one of each request to unlock the XP streak bonus!
¶ Requests & XP
Each week there will be three foods requested, and one doll. You must have all of the food requested on hand to successfully make the delivery (i.e. if the request is for 2 Roast Veggies, you must have both). Every time you make a delivery, you will gain the Marks shown below the food, and contribute XP to the Weekly Goal. Like the Faction Kitchen, the amount of the reward will decrease after each delivery, but will reset at the beginning of the next day. Rewards are affected by multipliers from Emblems, equipment, and other sources.
The reward amount is much lower than for the Kitchen, so it is difficult to earn a large amount of Marks unless you have a lot of the food on hand. The primary purpose of each delivery is to earn XP, and to make you a Contributing Member for the week. Only the foods given will earn XP; the doll is only required for the streak and not the goal. It is assumed that the Pet does not actually eat the doll, only plays with it while waiting for more food to be delivered.
By making at least one delivery for every food and doll shown, you will be recognized as a Contributing Member for the current week. You will not actually get the XP bonus, however, until the following week.
If the Weekly Goal is not reached, the Pet will fall asleep the following week and cannot be fed, meaning no Marks can be earned.

¶ Streak
During the first week that the Pet is successfully fed, nothing will happen, no bonuses will be given. Technically, you can skip being a Contributor for this week if you are running low on resources. During Week 2, you must be a Contributor if you want to get the bonus that will start on Week 3.
If the Pet is fed by the end of the week and you are a Contributing Member, you will get a bonus to XP according to the following layout:
- Week 2 streak = 10% XP bonus for weeks 3 & 4
- Week 4 streak = 20% XP bonus for weeks 5 & 6
- Week 6 streak = 30% XP bonus for weeks 7 & 8
- Week 8 streak = 50% XP bonus for weeks 9 & 10+
The Weekly Goal is 25% higher than it was the previous week, so eventually the Pet will become too expensive to feed. When it falls asleep, the XP bonus of the prior week will still be in effect until the next week begins (assuming you were a Contributing Member for the failed week, of course). The developers have acknowledged that this is not what they had intended when implementing the Faction Pet, so it may change in the future. For now, however, you can safely eat all of your foods during an off week and still get the bonus.
