¶ Digby
Digby resides in the upper portion of the Beach, to the right of the Dig Site. He surveys the shifting sands of the site daily, and has a rough idea of how treasures are grouped together. Speaking to him will show you clues that will help you find the treasures you seek. He also gives an overview of digging itself.
To prevent damage from over-excavation, each Bumpkin is only allowed to dig a certain amount of times each day. Digby enforces this rule with his ever-watchful gaze, but may be persuaded to allow a little more work in exchange for some precious Gems…
If you discover all three of the Chapter artifacts in a single day, Digby will reward you with a fourth artifact, and a bonus item. If you prove yourself a competent digger for multiple days in a row, Digby will reward you with better items. You can see the breakdown of streaks and rewards at https://sfl.world/info/chests
Digby is not a delivery NPC, and will not accept any items or flowers. You can access Digby's information by tapping the “New dig site!” button at the bottom of the screen. He will also give you your streak reward automatically, meaning it is unnecessary to be near him at all.
